Program Overview
This program focuses on helping participants work towards career self-sufficiency by supporting:
education,
vocation, and
independent living skills.
The main goal is to assist individuals in upskilling through post-secondary education or experiential learning through our partnerships with employers to build skills and earn self-sustaining wages.
Our program serves individuals through one-on-one career planning, by:
completing a career objective assessment,
identifying a career path goal in an in - demand job and
reducing barriers to lead to their success and goals.

Who is eligible or the best fit for this program?
These programs are intended to support *vulnerable populations - young adults, adults and those who may have recently lost their job(s) due to no fault of their own - in East Central Iowa
Those who can maintain consistent participation and communication with a career planner multiple times monthly
Have the ability to live and work independently
Motivated to make a plan and commit to making changes to reach short and long-term career goals.
*Vulnerable populations include youth and adults with barriers, the underemployed and individuals with disabilities.
